Member Benefits

Business & Telephone Directory

The Collie Chamber of Commerce produces its own local Business Directory annually, distributing around 5500 copies in the Collie shire area. We also receive requests from Interstate and Overseas businesses looking for a comprehensive list of businesses in the Collie region.

Chamber members are given a generous discount on their advertising costs, compared to businesses who aren’t members. They are also highlighted in the Residential Listings section in red at no extra charge.

Chamber Member Update

The Chamber provides a monthly newsletter to all members. It includes local and state government news, social events, Chamber activities and general business information.

Chamber Website

Our website is a useful tool for members and external businesses and individuals seeking information about the Chamber and businesses in Collie in general. Or find us on Facebook

Business After Hours

Members are invited to host an event in which they can introduce themselves and their business to other members and non-members of the Collie Chamber. There are also New Member Nights, which are run along the same principles as the BAH but new members of the Chamber are asked to present a short presentation about their business.

These events provide an excellent opportunity to raise the profile of Chamber businesses, and allow the business community to interact with each other.

Committee Meetings

The Executive Committee meets on the second Wednesday of every month 6:00pm—8:00pm, at the Collie Ridge Motel boardroom.
All members are welcome to attend the general discussion, but cannot take part in the voting process. Meetings are announced through our newsletter.

Gift Voucher Program

Any Members are able to participate in our gift voucher program. The voucher system is administered by the Chamber and are purchased by members of our community, including being used by some large companies in their staff/safety reward programs. These vouchers are treated as cash and can be redeemed in participating Chamber businesses. This is another service the Chamber provides for our local businesses.
