The Collie Chamber of Commerce produces its own local Business Directory annually, distributing around 6000 copies in the Collie Shire area. We also receive requests from Interstate and Overseas businesses looking for a comprehensive list of businesses in the Collie region.
Chamber members are given a generous discount on their advertising costs, compared to businesses who aren’t members. They are also Bolded in the Business/Residential Listings section in Black at no extra charge.
Collie Town App
The Chamber has produced a town app for digital smart phones and by being a member of the Chamber or advertising in the directory you get your business on here free of charge. If you would like the update your business details on the app please contact the office.
Chamber Member Update
The Chamber provides a monthly newsletter to all members. It includes local and state government news, social events, Chamber activities and general business information.
Our website is a useful tool for members and external businesses and individuals seeking information about the Chamber and businesses in Collie in general. We have also upgraded it to provide a online directory as part of your advertising Free of charge.
Business After Hours
Members are invited to host an event in which they can introduce themselves and their business to other members.
This provides an excellent opportunity to raise the profile of their business, and interact with other business owners and network.
New Members Night
Once a year the Chamber holds a special function for businesses or companies who have recently joined as new members.
New members are able to present a short presentation on their business and, if possible, can set up a display of the products or services their business provides.
Chamber Gift Vouchers
Retailers who are members of the Chamber are able to participate in our gift voucher program Free of charge. The voucher program is administered by the Chamber, Business/Individuals purchase the vouchers from us and redeem them in the participating stores (over 30 local shops) and they send in the voucher to us with a invoice and we reimburse the amount. This keeps our money local and supports businesses in town.
The Executive Committee meets on the second Wednesday of every month 7:00am—8:30am, at the Collie Chamber Training room. All members are welcome to attend the general discussion, but cannot take part in the voting process. Meetings are announced through our newsletter.
